You need to connect Gear S2 to your Mobile Device before using it. To connect, install the Samsung Gear App on your Mobile Device. You can download the App from Galaxy Apps or Play Store.

Please note: • You cannot install Samsung Gear App on the Mobile Device that does not support Gear syncing • Ensure that the Mobile Device is compatible with Gear S2 device

• Supported Mobile Devices may vary depending on your region, service provider and device manufacturer

2 On Apps screen, tap Samsung Gear

4 Check that the code displayed on your Gear S2 matches the code on your mobile device. Once done, tap OK

5 Accept the Terms and Conditions and tap Done

6 Sign into your Samsung account, or skip this step

7 When the devices are connected, the Samsung Gear Apps's main screen will be displayed on the Mobile Device and the Clock screen will be displayed on the Gear

Use the charger to charge the battery before using it for the first time or when it has been unused for extended periods.

Use only Samsung-approved chargers, batteries, and cables. Unapproved chargers or cables can cause the battery to explode or damage the Gear.

• If the battery is completely discharged, the Gear cannot be turned on immediately when the charger is connected. Allow a depleted battery to charge for a few minutes before turning on the Gear.

• If there are obstructions between the Gear and the wireless charger dock, the Gear may not charge properly. Prevent the Gear and the wireless charger from coming into contact with sweat, liquids, or dust.

I have a S10e upgraded from S7 due to battery expanding. And I been able to connect only through bluetooth. But one problem that I have is that I have two watch faces I paid for back in 2016 when I first received the phone. So when you are connected you should go to the Galaxy Store on your smartphone S10 something and find on the upper right corner three vertical dots. Then go to My page and select All. It will have Apps Themes, and Watch if your are logged in your Samsung Account. My problems in is the Watch Face does not appear on the list of availability. But find them under Receipts. THey are; Oakland Raiders Themed Special
