Upgraded Trinnov Altitude 32 with the MSIH81I motherboard. To install, remove old 2gig module, and install this. Perfect approved replacement for older altitude board. confirmed with Trin Support. DDR3 only, and buying 2 puts the board into Dual Channel mode. works perfectly.

After much price comparison (and soul searching) I decided to upgrade my ASUS desktop computer's RAM: if you are serious about multicore CPUs (multicore CPUs offer potentially greater benefit than overclocking a single CPU core) then you provide ample RAM. I've had good experience with Kingston RAM upgrade earlier purchases, the Kingston website suggested this DIMM matched pair, and Kingston suggested upgrades had the lowest price. I bought this DIMM matched pair kit, I removed my single existing DIMM, and I installed the Kingston DIMM pair. Now I learn that my ASUS motherboard uses dual-channel RAM: it is good that I purchased matched DIMMs.

DIMMs are static-sensitive; you must follow the rules. During the installation I wore non-static rubber-soled jogging shoes; I kept my knees pressed against the metal desk's walls; the desktop computer was completely unplugged; I wore a cheap anti-static wrist strap clipped to the desktop computer's chassis; and I installed the DIMMs gently (the DIMMs and the DIMM sockets are precision equipment; applying muscle here only creates problems).

Before the installation I downloaded MemTest86 free software, I built a MemTest86 bootable CD-ROM, and I verified that my pre-existing RAM was faultless. After the Kingston DIMM installation I verified that the Kingston DIMMs were faultless. I also verified that Windows 8.1 recognizes my upgraded RAM. I know that my Kingston RAM upgrade was successful and beneficial.

Thought it was kinda pricey for dated memory, but I had no choice, needed it for Win 10 upgrade. Shipping was incredibly fast, though.

I have a Windows 10 PC with 8 Gigs of Ram. As Windows has grown, and has the amount of memory that web pages take up, I found my PC swapping out a lot with the hard drive, and sometimes Chrome would lockup for minutes on end when I had lots of tabs open (not uncommon for me to have 20+ tabs open at once). Adding this memory into my Dell's second slot a couple of months ago, which doubled my RAM from 8 to 16G, has prevented such slowdowns from recurring. I haven't had any problem with this memory thus far and am extremely happy with the purchase.

I am happy to know that these memory modules are still available for my Asrock Fatal1 performance motherboard. Now, my old rig is maxed out with four (4) of these 8 gigs of memory modules. Suit my needs perfectly.

Comprei pra jogar the sims 4, porque meu pc era de 4GB e travava muito e perdia a graça o jogo. Tenho intencao de comprar mais um para ficar 16GB e alavancar a rapidez do meu pc Meu pc é simples gente, totalmente domestico, nao é super maquina. Mas quebra o galho pra mim pra ver filmes e mexer em sites. E essa memoria caiu como uma luva de perfeita! Podem comprar. Serve para uma pc melhor que o meu tambem e cumpre muuuuuito bem.

I've bought the same ram before and they have worked perfectly. I wish the price would come down a little on them considering where we are with ram and pc's today. Especially since people with pc's that don't take ddr4 or 5 are probably holding on because of the price of upgrading to begin with.

That being said, NO complaints about the service from the shipper or Amazon for service or quality so far. Thanks to both.

After doing a bit of research into what memory modules were compatible with my computer, type, speed etc. and never having any problems with Kingston products, I decided to buy a couple of these reasonably priced 8GB modules. As long as you get them lined up properly, the notch on the bottom will prevent incorrect installation, it's easy to install and after making sure the clips on each end secure the modules in, then job done. Besides getting a BIOS message informing me of a change of on-board memory, there were no problems at all.
