Pangu jailbreak available for Windows and Mac can jailbreak all devices on the latest Apple iOS firmware version. If you are looking to jailbreak your device using Pangu, simply follow the tutorial linked above to jailbreak iOS 7.1 or iOS 7.1.2 on any iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.  Compatible devices:

Timeline of how the jailbreak happened: In March, Apple released iOS 7.1 in which Evasi0n7 untethered jailbreaking tool, as expected, was patched by the Cupertino-based company. Later in the same month, Winocm posted a video on YouTube demonstrating iOS 7.1 untethered boot on an A4-based iPhone 4. No time frame was given for its release. This was immediately followed by iH8sn0w who claimed on Twitter that his iPhone 4s is jailbroken on iOS 7.1. But details, as usual, were scarce, and it was unknown on when the actual jailbreak will be made available to the public. iOS 7.1.1 was released in April. In May, i0n1c, Winocm and Yeongjin all managed to jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 independently. i0n1c’s one was called Cyberelevat0r. There was still no word on public ETA from any of them. In June, out of no where, a team of Chinese developers released Pangu iOS 7.1.1 untethered jailbreak which worked on all devices. i0n1c claimed that the exploits used in Pangu jailbreak were actually stolen from him from folks who took one of his training classes early in the year. On June 30th, Apple released a bug fix iOS 7.1.2 update which didn’t patched the exploits used in Pangu jailbreak. The developers behind Pangu updated the software for both Windows and Mac with full support for iOS 7.1.2 untethered jailbreak on all the iOS devices. Update x3: With both iOS 8 (you can download iOS 8 from here) and iOS 8.0.2 (you can download iOS 8.0.2 from here) now out, Apple has now closed firmware signing window for iOS 7.1.2, bringing an end to iOS 7 downgrades. ขั้นตอนการทำ ปิดการตั้งรหัสผ่านเข้าเครื่องก่อนทำนะครับ ต่อ iDevice เข้ากับคอมพิวเตอร์ จากนั้นคลิกขวาที่ไอคอนโปรแกรม Pangu เลือก Run as Administrator โปรแกรมจะทำการตรวจสอบเวอร์ชันของ iOS ที่เราใช้งานอยู่หากไม่ใช่ iOS 7.1 จะไม่สามารถเจลเบรคได้ ขึ้นเป็นตัวสีแดงบอกให้เราอัพเดตเวอร์ชันก่อน (ตามภาพ) แต่ถ้าเวอร์ชัน 7.1.x ถูกต้อง เราจะสามารถกดปุ่ม เพื่อดำเนินการต่อได้ครับ ถ้าเป็น Pangu 1.1 ที่อัพเดตใหม่ จะไม่มีการใส่สโตร์จีนเข้ามาแล้ว แต่ถ้าเราใช้ Pangu 1.0 สังเกตว่าจะมี Check box อยู่ แนะนำว่าควร "ติ้กออก" ถ้าเลือกไว้มันจะติดตั้งสโตร์ของจีนมาให้ด้วย ซึ่งเราไม่แนะนำครับ จากนั้นพอเรากดปุ่มดำ ( Jailbreak ) โปรแกรมจะบอกให้เราตั้งเวลาใหม่ก่อน ให้เราเข้า Settings > General > Daate & Time เลือกปิด Set Automatically จากนั้นตั้งเวลาเป็นวันที่ 2 มิ.ย. (ควรเปิด Location Service เอาไว้ด้วย) เสร็จแล้วกดปุ่ม ( Jailbreak ) ซ้ำอีกที *บางท่านบอกตั้งวันที่ 2 แล้วไม่ผ่าน แต่ตั้งวันที่ 1 ผ่าน ก็ลองดูนะ โปรแกรมจะค้างอยู่ที่เท่านี้ แล้วไม่ขยับ ไม่ต้องตกใจ หยิบไอโฟนของเราขึ้นมา จะเห็นมีไอคอน Pangu อยู่ แตะเปิดมันขึ้นมา แล้วโปรแกรมจะทำงานต่อจนเสร็จ รออย่างเดียวเท่านั้น แล้วไอโฟนของเราจะรีบูตเครื่องขึ้นมาใหม่และมีแอปฯ Cydia อยู่บนหน้า Home Screen ถือเป็นอันเสร็จสิ้นการเจลเบรค ในตอนนี้ iOS 7.1.2 เพิ่งจะเจลเบรคได้ ก่อนติดตั้ง Tweak ใน Cydia ควรตรวจสอบให้ดีว่ารองรับการทำงานของ iOS 7.1.2 หรือไม่ทุกครั้ง เพื่อไม่ให้เกิดปัญหาเครื่องติด Loop เดี๋ยวจะเสียเวลาแก้กันอีกเปล่าๆ หลังจากเจลเบรคเสร็จแล้วก่อนที่จะลง Tweak ใดๆ ก็ตาม ให้ติดตั้ง afc2add จากใน Cydia ก่อนนะครับ เพื่อให้เราเข้า Roots เครื่องได้จากโปรแกรม Explorer ต่างๆ หากติดตั้งทวีคตัวไหนไปแล้วเครื่องไม่รองรับจนติด Endless reboot loops จะได้เข้ามาลบ Tweaks จาก Explorer ได้ ปัญหาที่พบในการเจลเบรคด้วย Pangu และวิธีการแก้ไข ค้างที่หน้า Patching Kernel, ค้างที่หน้า Finding Offsets, ค้างตอนบูตเครื่องเป็นโลโก้ Apple บางคนค้างที่หน้าจอนี้นานมาก ซึ่งขั้นตอนนี้มีหลายคนค้างนานถึง 18 นาที ให้อดทนรอครับ ถ้าสัก 20 นาทีแล้วยังไม่มีให้ Hard Reset กด Power+Home ค้างเอาไว้ ประมาณ 10 วินาที แล้วลองเจลเบรคใหม่อีกครั้งครับ |
