Food and Protein Business

This group covers the production and distribution of meat products, chicken eggs and fish products to customers in Thailand and overseas. It also includes meat processing into cooked products, ready-to-cook products, semi-cooked products, ready-to-eat products, by-products and protein alternatives. In addition to the above, this group operates Betagro’s own farms and joins the farmers in various provinces around Thailand to operate their farms.

International Business

Betagro has broadened the scope of its investment in animal feed production, ranches and distribution channels to neighboring countries including the Kingdom of Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Betagro strictly complies with the laws of the country in which it operates and continues to apply its knowledge in various fields to jointly develop each business with its partners, farmers and sales representatives. It also conducts marketing studies and consumers' behavior to efficiently respond to customers' needs in each business area.

Pet Business

Betagro produces and distributes pet food products including snacks for dogs and cats, as well as pet care products such as medicine, supplementary food and shampoo. The products are distributed through various channels in Thailand and exported to overseas markets.

Quality Management

Manufacturing quality and safe products are Betagro’s first priorities. Hence, the Company maintains a very strict quality control system at every production step from pet food production to livestock, food processing at the plants and distribution points. It believes that business integration enables the Company to monitor its operation closely to ensure compliance with international safety standards through the entire supply chain. In addition, Betagro utilizes a system that allows the Company to trace back to the origin at every step of the production process.

Information Technology

Betagro believes that the infrastructure for information technology and information systems are necessary for its efficient administration and successful business development. Currently, the Company uses SAP, a software that creates a centralized system so that each department can have access and share information. It also gives a structural frame for accounting, production planning, supply chain management, distribution and sale, plant maintenance and cost management. In addition, Betagro uses SAP modules in all of its business groups in order to enhance integrated operation, operating efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
