ประโยคปฏิเสธ

เราสามารถเติมคำว่า not หลัง was / were ได้เลย
โดยที่เราไม่ต้องใช้คำอื่นเข้ามาช่วยในการทำประโยคปฏิเสธที่กริยา เป็น was / were เช่น

They were not renters of this apartment.
Ben and Jerry were not cookie lovers.
She was not a professional gardener.

ประโยคคำถาม

ในการทำประโยคคำถามใน was/were พวกเราจะต้องสลับตำแหน่งของประธานกับกริยา was/were เช่น

Were you okay last night?
When was the last time I saw you?
What was his favorite car?

กริยาบอกการกระทำ

ที่ไม่ใช่ was/were เช่น move, polish, think เป็นต้น พวกเรา จะต้องแยกการใช้กริยาตามประธานตามนี้นะคะ

ประโยคบอกเล่า

ประโยคปฏิเสธ

เราจะต้องใช้กริยาช่วย did เข้ามาเสริมในประโยค ก่อนเติม not หน้ากริยา ประโยคตัวอย่างเช่น

I did not apply for this job.
We did not book a table at this restaurant.
The locksmith had his keys stolen.
