  Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi

  Excellent sound card but all Creative Sound Blaster cards are in my opinion. Never owned one I didn't like. My first choice. I would compare this card to the Audigy 2. I use it mainly for multimedia: music and movies. Excellent sound quality when using the optical out with a soundbar and sub. Works very well with Windows 10. I would suggest staying away from older sound cards with a game port when using Windows 10. I have ran into a few driver issues and hardware recognition for the game ports. This is a great sound card if on a budget. Can be purchased used for around $30. Definitely superior to onboard sound. The control software is easy to use and make adjustments. Can be used in any PCI express slot. Should fit fine in any case but is slightly wide if mounting directly under a graphics card with fans.Read full review Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned

• Low noise! The Crystalizer sound effect improved my external speakers! Well worth the price.

  Very easy to install. The sound effect options are interesting and fun to try out. For speaking & movies & TV & videos, the only sound effect I use is "Crystalizer" at 80% to 90% (it improves the sound of my external speakers). For some types of music, I set a sound effect that the driver installation app provides, such as Amphitheater. The audio quality appears to be on par with competitors (such as RealTek), yet better when I use "Crystalizer". Also, this sound card has less noise than when I plug my external speaker into the motherboard's audio port, and this reason (less noise) was why I purchased the 1st sound card. Unparallel sound production

I recently bought 2 Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium sound cards,namely Titanium and Fal1ty Champion with I/O Driver. The card with front panel cost me $220+ and the other $110+.They are both awesome in sound quality. My main intention on buying the sound card was upgrading the quality of my earlier sound quality at Audgy 2.I bought the extra card for my 3 year old son's computer as I believe higher and crispier eloquence of language makes higher levels of learning.By the way I am a teacher of English as a second language. I have no intention on gaming,Champion is said to be for that, too.I have no experience on gaming and except that both sound cards are exactly the same.I/O Panel is a waste of money.A basic convenience, having a front port for your headphone,but does not worth the extra Dollar YOU HAVE TO pay. Except that I am marveled by the quality and the advancement of the performance.I enjoy sound on a Creative 7.1 sound system and Sennheiser HD PRO 280 headphone.Sound makes magic especially on the headphone. I readily recommend the Titanium series for anyone looking for elegance of higher end sound reproduction,yet not the I/O Panel.
