I get an error Message: Could not call C function: private_load_AgCoreTech I looked up the existing support note here (How to fix Lightroom launch error 'Could not call C function: private_load_AgCoreTech'. ), but this did not work for me. After installing the two files into the Lightroom root directory, I still have the same error message. Now even worse, since it does not vanish after clicking OK. Thanks for the help Pierre

In the case of Lightroom, I get the error message in the title when running Lightroom, and although the program "runs" it can't do anything. Clicking anything in Lightroom causes more error messages and it does not load any previous libraries. I have tried: 1. Reinstalling Lightroom Classic CC 2. Reinstalling Visual C++ (this came up as a solution for the Photoshop problems I was having) 3. Following this solution: How to fix Lightroom launch error 'Could not call C function: private_load_AgCoreTech'. In the case of that solution, I do not have a folder called "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom". I do have a folder called "Adobe Lightroom Classic CC" and I tried copying the two DLL files there, but it did not solve the problem.
