When you set up an SD card on your Android device, you can choose between portable storage or internal storage.

When you format an SD card for portable storage:

You can save files, like photos and videos, on the SD card. You can’t install apps on the SD card.

When you format an SD card for internal storage:

You can load files, like photos and videos, on the SD card. You can install apps on the SD card. You can’t transfer the SD card between devices. The SD card can be used in addition to your device's storage.

Set up a new SD card

Important: If you format your SD card, data will be permanently deleted. Before you format the SD card, back up your files.

My Wileyfox handset recently upgraded to 7.0 and I'm getting nowhere with their support. My SD card is formatted as "internal storage". Despite over 30GB of free space on the card, I'm unable to add new apps or update existing ones and am getting lack of space error messages instead. I've reviewed the list of first aid options and these don't offer any solutions. I'm already using the SD card formatted as internal (i.e. not portable) storage.

WFox maintain that many apps will now not run on SD cards.

However, I thought that this related to "external" / "portable" SD cards and that formatting the card as internal memory would avoid this issue. WFox won't address this question. If my understanding is wrong, so be it, but it would be helpful if someone can answer this query for me.

สรุป

ก็ต้องยอมรับว่าในแต่ละเวอร์ชันก็มีอะไรเพิ่มเข้ามาเยอะแยะมากมาย เพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ใช้สะดวกสบายและสามารถทำอะไรได้มากขึ้น แต่ในอีกมุมหนึ่ง ก็ส่งผลให้นักพัฒนาต้องหมั่นปรับตัวตามอยู่ตลอดเวลาเพื่อให้แอปของผู้ที่หลงเข้ามาอ่านนั้นยังคงใช้งานได้ปกติสุข
